Karsantı HEPP

Project Detail

Karsantı HEPP is on Doğançay Creek which is located in Aladağ district of Adana city.

Project is designed as reservoir type HEPP. Dam is 45 m height and concrete gravity type. Stored water is transferred by 1500 m length pressurized energy tunnel and penstock. There are 2 vertical axis francis type machine in the power house.

Karsantı HEPP project is a good example as such developing project formulation and planning process.
