Project Detail

Project is located around Bulancak district within Giresun city. Main water resource of the project is Kızılev Creek which is upstream tributary of the Pazarsuyu basin.

Diverted creek flow is transferred to headpond by corrugated pipelines and conveyed to power house by buried penstock. There exists two vertical six jet Pelton turbines manufactured by VapTech company inside power house where total installed power is 18.20 MW.

Çiğdem HEPP powerhouse is a successive example of tailor made design where topography is complex like Black Sea Region.
