Kovanlık HEPP

Project Detail

Kovanlık HEPP is located at Bulancak district, Giresun city in East-Blacksea Basin. The conveyance of water from Kovanlık weir to headpond is done by 9632 m length free flow tunnel. Steel penstock length is 1112 m and will be installed inside vertical and sloped tunnel. There will exist 3 Pelton turbines inside powerhouse and total installed power will be 58.383 MWm / 57.215 MWe. Total produced energy is 154.12 GWh.
