Project Detail

Project is located around Güneysu district within Rize city. Main water resource of the project is Pilahoz Creek.

Diversion weir and headpond are designed by Beray. Especially diversion weir site is too narrow so there is no possibility of doing settling basin. Diversion weir site is in the forest area so too much leaf, bush, etc. are transported in the creek. Easy operation and maintenance and also reducing the construction costs, coanda screens are designed for the diversion weirs.

Diversion weir and headpond of the Yeşilköy project is a good example of a minimalist design.
